Director & Forest School Coach
Kelly
Kelly has a wealth of experience as a Forest School Leader, in both Singapore and the UK.
With a background working in mental health and leading a Recovery Through Nature initiative she wholeheartedly believes in the mental, physical and emotional benefits of quality time outdoors. She is extremely passionate about empowering independent, healthy risk taking kids (as young as possible) and treasuring a child-led space and pace.
Kelly's favourite activities in the forest include nature art, all things mud related and barefoot puddle jumping!
Tampines Eco Green is her favourite outdoor retreat in Singapore, if you haven't been go!
Forest School Coach
Munirah
Forest School first resonated with Munirah when it was introduced in her Diploma. She has background experience in Early Childhood settings and actively volunteers, specifically working with young children. Munirah is also warmly known as Moon to some of the children and is quickly becoming famous amongst the groups for her awesome knot and rope skills.
Munirah's favourite thing to do in the forest is to watch the children grow in character and personality. Also being able to witness firsthand when children overcome their fears such as height, mud, insects, the list goes on!
Tampines Eco Green is one of her favourite nature areas as it is close to the heartland.
Forest School Coach
Kirsty
As well as being a naturally brilliant Forest School Leader Kirsty is a qualified children’s nurse and Public Health nurse with a passion for supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of children.
Kirsty loves to use the natural environment in creative ways to help children build resilience, forge friendships and find a love for nature.
She has two children who have attended a Forest School Kindergarten in the UK for the last 7 years and her family has very much lived and breathed forest school during this time.
Kirsty’s favourite activities in the forest are stick whittling and rope swings! Her favourite place is yet to be decided!
