Wednesday Mornings in the East! Drop Off Session | Unaccompanied Group Size 6 Children: 2 Adults | Led by Coach Moon and Coach Jason 8 Week Term | Wednesday 17/04/24 - Wednesday 19/06/24 (Public Holidays: 01/05 & 22/05 - no session) The perfect outdoor, child-led and nature focused learning experience! Weekly sessions full of fun, freedom, forest friends and a good dose of adventure in spectacular surroundings in the East. We have something for every child, from bug catching, nature crafts, shelter building, bushcraft, knot skills to tree climbing and our fantastic Forest School Coaches are always ready to share their knowledge and support budding interests. Locations- Tampines Eco Green (6 sessions) This eco-friendly nature sanctuary bursting with fascinating flora and fauna spread over 36.5-hectare's. With its soft mud paths, long inviting green corridors, friendly turtles, lizards and calming waters is an ideal site for kids to curiously explore. Pasir Ris Mangrove and Kingfisher Pond (1 session) On the other side of Sungei Tampines is our second place to roam the beauty of the mangrove forest and get close to its inhabitants. Or to test our stamina and binoculars on the mighty Bird Watching Tower! A great way to expand our knowledge on native and migrating birds. Pasir Ris Nature Garden & Beach (1 session) This location offers us a change of scenery and new areas of interest. The Nature Garden invokes the spirit of Singapore’s kampong past, inviting kids to experience nature with elements of coastal village life. This enchanting site always intrigues energetic climbers, it's flowers attract a kaleidoscope of butterflies and it's great for treasure hunts! The beach offers a whole different sensory experience and open ended invitations for play, learning and connecting with nature. We recommend all children are appropriately prepared with the following; ● Long sleeved top and trousers ● Sun Hat ● Closed toe shoes ● One full bottle of water/drink ● At least one substantial snack (as exploring often leaves them extra hungry!) ● Waterproof Jacket or poncho ● Mosquito Repellent Spray and or stickers ● Sunscreen ● *A change of clothing and towel for the Beach trip We will add you to a Parent Chat Group after booking to share full details on the exact meet point/collection location for each week, what to wear and pack etc, before the start of term.
