Wednesday Mornings in the East! 8 Week Term | Wednesday 03/05/23 - Wednesday 21/06/23 (10 Week term in total - Week 1 & 2, 19/04 & 26/04 have now passed) Drop Off Sessions | Unaccompanied Overview- The perfect outdoor, child-led and nature focused learning experience! Weekly sessions for homeschoolers full of fun, freedom, friends and a good dose of adventure in spectacular surroundings in the East. We have something for every child, from bug catching, nature crafts, shelter building, bushcraft, knot skills to tree climbing and our fantastic Forest School Coaches are always ready to share their knowledge and support budding interests. Location- We will explore four different sites over our 10 week term to offer a great variety of space, wildlife and sensory exposure. 1. Tampines Eco Green (5 sessions) This eco-friendly nature sanctuary bursting with fascinating flora and fauna spread over 36.5-hectare's. With its soft mud paths, long lush green corridors, friendly turtles and calming waters is an ideal site for kids to curiously explore. 2. Pasir Ris Nature Garden & Beach (2 sessions) Both of these locations offer us a change of scenery and new areas of interest. The Nature Garden invokes the spirit of Singapore’s kampong past, inviting kids to experience nature with elements of coastal village life. This enchanting site always intrigues the energetic climbers, it's flowers attract a kaleidoscope of butterflies and it's great for treasure hunts! The beach offers a whole different sensory experience and open ended invitations for play, learning and connecting with nature. 3. East Coast Park (1 session) We will be visiting NParks first outdoor classroom by the sea, which has plenty of space to stretch our legs, a fantastic space for water and sand experiments and we can try to find some washed up treasures. 4. Pasir Ris Mangrove and Kingfisher Pond (2 sessions) On the other side of Sungei Tampines is our third place to roam the beauty of the mangrove forest and get close to its inhabitants. Or to test our stamina and binoculars on the mighty Bird Watching Tower! (This group will also be invited to join our Lazarus Island hopping Adventure on a Saturday morning during the term if they wish! - usually a closed event) We will add you to a Parent Chat Group after booking to share full details on meet point/collection location for each week, what to wear and pack etc.
