Wednesday After-School Club at the Botanic Gardens! 10 Week Term | Wednesday 19/04/23 - Wednesday 21/06/23 Drop Off Sessions | Unaccompanied Overview- This club is a golden opportunity for your child to balance their busy school week, to grow in independence, confidence, resilience and unity as an adventurous child-led team in the great outdoors. We have something for every child, from bug catching, nature crafts, shelter building, bushcraft, knot skills to tree climbing and our fantastic Forest School Coaches are always ready to share their knowledge and support budding interests. Plus of course, there is plenty of freedom to explore with friends. Location- Botanic Gardens | 8 Sessions We adventure weekly through the 160-year-old Singapore Botanic Gardens, UNESCO World Heritage site. This place is packed with botanical and horticultural features and a rich history. As we explore through the Learning Forest, Ginger Garden, Ethnobotany Garden, Evolution Garden, Gallop Valley and some lesser known secret foresty parts we will be joined by fish, amphibians, swans, monitor lizards, turtles and sometimes even otters! In addition to the Botanic Gardens we will be including a few epic excursions to elevate our adventures and explore new ground. Fort Canning | 1 Session - A great water play opportunity, huge friendly frogs and a fun fort to discover at this location (9 minutes from Botanic Gardens) Mount Faber | 1 Session - A fantastic chance to practice navigation skills, find the hidden tyre swing, toast marshmallows and really enjoy the forest at this location (12 minutes from Botanic Gardens) *PLEASE NOTE: After booking we will add you to a Parent Chat Group where we share all details including exact meet point location, what to wear, pack etc. Plus we share lots of great photos here at the end of each day you get a glimpse of your children's adventures. FAQ - 1. Yes there are cafés nearby and within the gardens for parents and helpers 2. Yes we can accommodate a later start if your child requires one (3:30pm /3:45pm) Please contact us directly to arrange. We have flexibility to run two groups at this site.
