Wednesday Mornings in the East! 1x Session | Wednesday 31/05/23 | 09:30-11:30 | East Coast Park Drop Off Session | Unaccompanied Overview- The perfect outdoor, child-led and nature focused learning experience! Weekly sessions for homeschoolers are full of fun, freedom, friends and a good dose of adventure in spectacular surroundings in the East. We have something for every child, from bug catching, nature crafts, shelter building, bushcraft, knot skills to tree climbing and our fantastic Forest School Coaches are always ready to share their knowledge and support budding interests. Location- Tampines Eco Green This eco-friendly nature sanctuary bursting with fascinating flora and fauna spread over 36.5-hectare's. With its soft mud paths, long lush green corridors, friendly turtles and calming waters is an ideal site for kids to curiously explore. We explore three additional sites during the full term to offer a great variety of space, wildlife and sensory exposure. 1. Pasir Ris Nature Garden & Beach Both of these locations offer us a change of scenery and new areas of interest. The Nature Garden invokes the spirit of Singapore’s kampong past, inviting kids to experience nature with elements of coastal village life. This enchanting site always intrigues the energetic climbers, it's flowers attract a kaleidoscope of butterflies and it's great for treasure hunts! The beach offers a whole different sensory experience and open ended invitations for play, learning and connecting with nature. 2. East Coast Park We will be visiting NParks first outdoor classroom by the sea, which has plenty of space to stretch our legs, a fantastic space for water and sand experiments and we can try to find some washed up treasures. 3. Pasir Ris Mangrove and Kingfisher Pond On the other side of Sungei Tampines is our third place to roam the beauty of the mangrove forest and get close to its inhabitants. Or to test our stamina and binoculars on the mighty Bird Watching Tower! We recommend all children are appropriately equipped with the following; ● Long sleeved top and trousers ● Hat ● Closed toe shoes ● One full bottle of water/drink ● At least one substantial snack (as exploring often leaves them extra hungry!) ● Waterproof Jacket or poncho ● Mosquito Repellent Spray and or stickers ● Sunscreen *We will add you to a Parent Chat Group after booking to share full details on meet point/collection location
